Finally, cold weather has arrived here in Minnesota. Also, it’s a little over a month until Spring Training starts for the Minnesota Twins. Can’t wait until then to get your baseball fix? The Twins are once again doing their two annual events later this month.
The first is TwinsFest, which will be held on Friday January 29 to Sunday January 31st at Target Field. Tickets will be $20 for adults and $10 for kids 14 and under. Metro Transit will be providing free rides to and from the event.
As I had described in last year’s post about TwinsFest, this is an excellent opportunity to check out sections of the ballpark that are not normally open on game days to fans. Not only that, there are other activities such as photo sessions, autographs from current and former Twins players as well as several other baseball related activities for fans to do at TwinsFest. There will also be a blood drive hosted by Memorial Blood Centers on Saturday from 9-1 in Event Suites B through G.
If you want more information or to purchase tickets, follow this link on the Twins website.
The second event is the annual Twins Caravan which will run from January 18 to January 28. It will make stops in forty different communities throughout Twins territory, visiting schools, corporations, hospitals and service clubs during the day and an evening stop with a program.
As I’d stated last year, this is an excellent chance for fans to interact with the players. Not only that, you can get autographs as well.
If you want more information, go to this link on the Twins website.
I would definitely encourage fans out in Twins Territory to check out one or both of these events. They will get you excited for the upcoming Twins season especially since the Twins had an exciting and growing season last year. If I were you, I’d for sure go to TwinsFest, but if you can’t make it to TwinsFest, go to a Twins Caravan stop near you. Even better, how about go to both TwinsFest and a Twins Caravan stop.
