On May 9th, at 7:30 pm begins one of Bethel University’s most premiere concerts: Classics in the Great Hall. After a year of performance and practice, university students from the orchestra, wind symphony, and choir will pour their hearts and souls into their music, and share it with the audience.
Not only will the Bethel University Chamber Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Concert Choir be featured, but there will also be special solo performances by vocalists and instrumentalists; some of which have cleaned house at music competitions.
Classics is an annual spring concert that rarely sells out. It seems under-appreciated for how stunning it is, and the Benson Great Hall (acoustically one of the best music halls in Minnesota) helps to empower the amazing music.
Now is not too late to see what Bethel has to offer in terms of great performances — I for one should know (and I’m a little bias) because I am a member of this great collection. If you enjoy fantastic musical performance, mark this event in your calendar and head to Bethel this Friday.
